Notice of Pre-Application Public Hearing for the Community Development Block Grant Program – Section 3 Pre-Application

The County of Dawson will hold a Public Hearing on August 1, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., during the regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners (BOC) Work Session, at the Dawson County Government Center at 25 Justice Way, Dawsonville, Georgia, 30534, in the Assembly Room, on the Second Floor and is accessible by elevator.

Purpose of discussing the grant process: the need for a new public health facility and receiving citizen input for the project.

A second Public Hearing will be held on August 15, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. during the BOC Voting Session. Once completed, a copy of the application will be available in the Finance Office, on the Second Floor (accessible by elevator). The application due date will be in April 2025.
